China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China National Heavy Duty Truck"), formerly known as Jinan Automobile Manufacturing General Factory, was founded in 1930 and is the cradle of China's heavy duty truck industry. In 1960, China's first heavy-duty vehicle, the Huanghe brand JN150 eight-ton truck, was manufactured, ending the history that China could not produce heavy-duty vehicles. On May 4 of that year, Chairman Mao Zedong inspected Jinan, visited the prototype car and spoke highly of it. On January 11, 1966, Chairman Zhu De personally wrote the word "Yellow River" for it. In the early days of socialist construction, the "Yellow River" car was well-known throughout the country, made significant contributions to the development of the national economy and national defense construction, and became one of the landmark achievements of the Chinese nation's self-reliance and hard struggle.
